Villas del Caribe is a Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Development providing 81 units of affordable housing for families developed with support from the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency Low-Income Housing Tax Credit Program and the City of Philadelphia. This property is convenient to transportation, schools, local shopping, houses of wordship and recreational facilities. This development is the second of four sites that comprise the Caribe Development Zone—four acres of land, formerly vacant lots and buildings, that were vacant for over 20 years in the St Hugh Neighborhood.

This multifamily development offers two, three and four bedroom townhomes, with 37 units subsidized by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Section 8 Program. Residents of the Section 8 units are subject to income limits established annually by HUD. This development features an open courtyard complete with two tot lots and with ample landscaped areas. The community room is located in a separate building where HACE’s Main offices are located.
